Erin seems to be the only teacher that hasn't given up on the students before they have even gotten a chance. She has passion and a drive to engage the students into learning. She see that the system has let them down and is trying to give them a reason to try and want to learn again

ReplyDeleteI agree with you Aruya. I think I need to get lessons on note taking from Stacy. GREAT JOB! What an emotional roller coaster this movie sent me on. It was heartbreaking to see these students being tossed aside like their education didn't matter.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was amazing how she was the only one who seemed to care about her students. So many of the other teachers saw them as al the same, bad news. I think there needs to be more teachers like her in our school systems!!
